Web and Mobile sites

Mind Wrack embraces a "Mobile First" strategy to take advantage of the global shift toward mobile devices. We begin with a mobile focus to ensure a quick and easy to use experience for small devices. For desktop and tablet we use dynamic content delivery mechanisms to extend and enhance this to larger displays and higher bandwidths. This approach gives the optimal experience to all users.

Mobile and Tablet Applications

Mobile, desktop and touch devices are used in ways fundamentally different from a traditional web site. Mind Wrack recognizes these differences and creates a solution that will work within the desired scope, budget and timeline for each project.

Retail Experiences

Mind Wrack uses the hottest emerging technologies like touch glass and touch table interfaces to create captivating retail experiences. These garner extensive media coverage and promote a brand as an industry innovator and thought leader. The first electronic wine lists on both tablet and touch table were created by Mind Wrack with great praise from the New York Times, CNBC, and The Wine Spectator.

Content Management, eCommerce and Connectivity

Content Management Systems (CMS) allow a site to be managed without the assistance of a developer. Mind Wrack has experience integrating many different flavors of CMS and evaluates the best platform for each project. Regardless of the chosen CMS, we never lose sight of the designed user experience. ECommerce, social media and custom third party components and portals can also be part of the solution.

Back

Globalization and Localization

Quality user experiences attract a global audience, requiring differing language and cultural adjustments. Horizontal languages like English or vertical languages and dialects like Chinese present variations in display height, content length and cultural interpretation. Offering an experience that adjusts design elements and delivers localized content provides a more personal connection with users. Mind Wrack’s global delivery experience benefits our partners by allowing us to foresee problematic design elements and to implement content management for desired language and dialect differences.

Back

Search, Analysis and Optimization

Mind Wrack implements analytics tracking, search engine optimization (SEO) recommendations and the latest internet standards on every project. These contribute to a highly cohesive desktop and mobile experience. Optimizations drive traffic and user search to the site and track user engagement with content. Analysis of this activity can aid in further optimization, content reorganization or social media interactions to more deeply engage and attract customers.

Our Work

Mind Wrack has delivered over 200 technology experiences. Here are a few of the great brands we’ve had the privilege to work with.

Home

Amo Eno Wine Bar

The Amo Eno Wine Bar in Hong Kong needed a technology partner to create the first-in-the-world touch table wine list. Working with a design from Red October we created surface touch table interface that integrated with the point-of-sale system, and Enomatic wine machines to offer a user experience giving customers access to wine and pairing information.

Back

Aureole

The Aureole restaurant is a premier destination for wine enthusiasts visiting Las Vegas. For the restaurant we worked with Red October's design to create the first electronic tablet wine list. Aureole features thousands of wines and needed an easier way to manage and dynamically remove wines from the list as they sold out. We created a custom tablet interface that allowed Aureole's customers to browse the wines by glass, region, varietal and food pairing. The list also featured live video from their glass wine tower, and hand-written notes to the chef and sommelier.

Back

Microsoft

We’ve delivered numerous projects for Microsoft including enhanced user navigation systems, product informational sites, mapping and search integrations and press portals. Many of these projects required content delivery in more than ten languages.

A custom mapping locator was built utilizing a combination of the Google maps and Google places APIs. This site required complex navigation and time-based home page feature displays.
